Dr Ksenia HoggGeneral Paediatrician Ksenia is a passionate child advocate who adopts a personalised, collaborative approach with each child, their family, educators, GPs, and other healthcare providers to achieve the best outcomes for every patient and to optimise their physical and emotional well-being. Ksenia is a dual-trained paediatrician having first trained in Toronto, Canada, before relocating to Australia in 2009 and completing her Australian paediatric qualifications at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick. Ksenia spent nearly a decade working as a consultant paediatrician in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, both within the public hospital system and private practice. Ksenia also worked at Bear Cottage children’s hospice providing paediatric palliative to children with complex life-limiting conditions. After a sea change to the Sunshine Coast in 2021, Ksenia now works within the community in private paediatric practice, allowing her to work closely with individuals and families to provide long-term care and build lasting relationships with a commitment to providing comprehensive, empathetic and individualized care. Her goal is to support the overall health and well-being of children, ensuring they thrive at every stage of development. |
Ksenia has a particular expertise in managing complex neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions. She has a deep understanding of neurodivergence and advocates that by recognising, understanding and treating neurodevelopmental disorders, we can overcome the associated mental health challenges and harness every individual’s inherent strength.
